Words for Woozi
Welcome to Words for Woozi! This is the first fic fest from SVT Fic Fest, an account dedicated to creating various fic fests for the K-Pop group SEVENTEEN.

About

As the name goes, our first fic fest is centered around Seventeen's Woozi. All ships are welcome, be it popular pairings or rare pairs, monogamous or polyamorous; likewise, all ship dynamics, new or old are welcome.
This is a prompt-based fest, which means that prompts will be sent in and writers that sign up will be able to claim a prompt of their choice. Prompters don't have to sign up as writers and writers do not have to send in prompts, so no stress if you have an idea, but don't want to write or wanting to write but lacking ideas. However, you're more than welcome to both submit prompts and write!
Feel free to check out our below pages for more information. If you're interested, please show support by following our Twitter account, RTing our content, and sharing with your fellow Carats! 💕

Rules
We don't have a lot of rules for this fest, that said, please do heed the ones we do have!
Remain anonymous until posting.
Works should have a minimum word count of 2K.
Main ships should be Seventeen ships and Woozi must be included in the pairing/grouping.
No explicit dub-con, non-con, sexualization of minors, or abuse allowed.
No glorification of rape, abuse, or harassment of any kind.
Tag your fics appropriately.
All fics must be written in English.
Do not switch or trade prompts.
If you don't submit by the check-in, you will be dropped from the fest and your prompt will be available for claiming once again. If you need an extension, please email the Mods at least 24 hours prior to the check-in.
Check-in word counts are based on the type of fic you are writing (i.e. one-shot or chapter fic); chapter fics will have a higher word count for Check-ins 2 and 3.
Writers can take another prompt once they complete their current prompt.
**Stories may not be accepted at Moderators discretion (i.e. don't break the above rules and we won't have any problems).
Prompting
What you can do:
You can drop prompts with us! This means you can follow a link to a google form (which will be prepared and provided by the Mods) and fill it out with your plot ideas.
Prompting Form HERE.
Prompt Database:
All the prompts that we receive through the prompting form till July 26 will be gathered by one of the Mods into an Excel spreadsheet.
Prompting Database HERE (coming soon~).
The link to the Excel spreadsheet will also be published on our Twitter; this will happen around 1-2 days before claiming starts (June 26 - 27).
Minimum of 24 prompts total; 4 categories based on AO3 ratings; 1 prompt per rating category will be created by Mods (when Excel spreadsheet first shared, each category will already have 1 prompt created by Mods).
Please note, on the last 2 days of the reveal, we will reveal all prompters who chose not to remain anonymous in order to give writers the chance to directly reach out to you should they want to adopt your prompt.
Claiming
Anyone can claim a prompt! Claiming starts on June 28 (8 p.m. CST) and ends on July 26 (8 p.m. CST). Mods will confirm your prompt within 2-3 business days of submitting the claiming form.
Claiming will also happen through a Google form that will be prepared and provided by the Mods. If you want to adopt a prompt and transform it into a fic you only need to fill out the claiming form.
Claiming form HERE (coming soon~).
The process is based on first come first serve basis. This means if two people want the same prompt, the one who filled out the Google form earlier will get the prompt in the end. You will be able to voice three prompt choices per form.
However, please keep in mind that you can only claim one prompt at a time. If you finish your fic to your prompt before the deadline, you are free to fill out the claiming form again and pick another!
Prompts that have been claimed will get crossed out in the prompting spreadsheet by one of the Mods so that you can tell which are already taken.
After filling out the form, you need to wait for us to send you a confirmation email to the address you provided us. Our confirmation email includes the prompt you have claimed and some reminders like the deadlines. Please respond to this email with VOBO to let us know that no mistake occurred.
Writing Process
After you have successfully claimed a prompt as yours, you have until December 7 (midnight CST) to write your fic.
Please keep in mind that the minimum word count is 2000 words. After you are finished, please send us your fic via email to [email protected]! If you still have time, feel free to pick another prompt via claiming form.
If you need an extension please contact us as soon as you know.
Also, if you need to drop out because of personal reasons, please contact us as soon as possible.
Check-ins are on: August 30, October 11, November 29. This basically means that we would like you to send us an email with your current word count and a small summary of the fic you are writing.
Posting
Posting is allowed at any point during the fic fest; however, you must post completed works only.
Where to Post?
Writers will post their completed fics on AO3 under the following Collection: Words for Woozi.
The collection is moderated which means our Mods must approve the work prior to it showing up in the Collection. Likewise, the collection is Anonymous. During reveal week, Mods will remove all fics from Anonymous and they will appear under your profile and username.
Posting Deadlines:
All fics must be posted by December 7, 2020. Between December 11 - December 17, Mods will email you to confirm if we’ve received your submission(s) and which day your fic will be revealed on.
Reveals
In the beginning, the names of the prompters and writers will be kept anonymous. On the reveal week -- December 20 - December 26 -- the (account) name of the writers will be revealed if they did not choose to be anonymous.
Reveals will be done in batches and revealed on AO3, Twitter, and our website. Reveals will be first come first serve (i.e. those who submit earlier will be revealed earlier). This is not to rush anyone in their submission -- remember you have until December 7 to submit your work -- but to keep things organized for us Mods.
Likewise, on the last two days of the reveal, all prompters who chose not to remain anonymous will be revealed. We are doing this in case any writer saw a prompt they wanted and want to coordinate directly with the prompter to adopt the prompt outside of the fic fest.
We hope that everyone will leave lots of comments for the authors and maybe also to the prompters who thought of the specific ideas!
